Beáta Székely

The interpretation of phenomena through pictures, the grotesque overtone of motives imbued with poetry, offers a particular painter's world. Her childhood's early experiences, the unscrupulous violence of brutal blocks of flats suppressing the pure folk Transylvanian culture is decisive on the formation of her painting. Her work excitingly combines the traditional picture construction with the innovative results of the 20th and 21st century fine arts.
