Szabolcs Bene-Szabó

Szabolcs Bene-Szabó is an architect from Csíkszereda and his main goal is to take the edge off, round off our daily squared shaped lives. The wood structures smuggled into the world of his shapes make the imagined living space livelier and more human. Szabolcs plans are not built on just one style; the works in term of their functionality and style vary and are refreshing. The young artist was mostly seized by the organic architecture philosophy, discovering the attitude and perceptions of organic architecture in folk architecture as well. “With my current work I've fallen in love with the szekler houses, so I am inclined to do so, given that only in case of big buildings is there a need for organic architecture in the strict sense of the word. Of course I really like and one of my favorites is still Makovecz, but for the moment, whenever possible I turn everything into a gallery - told the perpetually cheerful architect”.
