Ákos Szente-Szabó initially focused on graphic arts after completing his formal training. His artistic direction shifted significantly after joining the Szolnok Artists Colony, where he transitioned toward painting. His technique evolved from aquarelle to oil paint, and his approach became "more relaxed, into a more impassioned expression" rather than his earlier objective, problem-centered style. This transformation resulted from both the peaceful environment and professional influences he encountered. He launched his first independent exhibition in Eger and has since participated regularly in national and international exhibitions, both solo and group exhibitions.
